About Me

Who Am I?

Back in the early 2010s I was told about a now defunct website called Smackjeeves where people would make comics for the world to see. The world being the tiny slice of the internet it occupied. As a kid, learning anyone could make a comic and put it on the internet was a mind blowing discovery and I needed to drop everything to join in the community and put whatever stories I had online!

About two to three years later I finally started drawing in the margins of my notebooks and on spare note cards handed out in class for studying. A few more years later, I expanded to drawing on the desks instead of paying attention in my math classes as I pursued a computer science degree. While I enjoyed programming and was good at it, I wasn’t exactly a good student and didn’t feel the need to pay attention to get a passing grade (to my credit, I would get decent grades without paying attention.)

Whether by a stroke of fate or my poor study habits catching up with me, I was eventually kicked out of the CS program and moved to art due to my middling grades. Now I use my experience with computers to play with how they work and use them as a medium for my art, as well as lean further into the doodle style of art I’d curated over the years.
